I presently have it mounted in the center of the cab. This machine is tall and narrow so on uneven ground it is rocking around a good bit. I was wondering about moving the antenna out to the front of the hood which should be about 4 foot lower than the cab. Will this help or will the cab block the signal from some of the satellites making for a worse condition than I have now.
