Madision County, IL | Tried to drive the tractor to another farm this evening. First time we moved it since being parked in the shed last fall. I was the last person to use the tractor and didn't notice any issues before we parked the tractor for the season.
When on the low side the tractor would move but not a normal speed (it was like something was slipping). Turned around and parked in the shed.
Did some testing after it was parked.
When on the low side I could let out the clutch all the way while holding the brake and the engine would run like it barely had a load.
When on the high side I could let out the clutch while holding the brake and it would kill the engine.
Anyone have ideas about what might be wrong with this tractor? Plan to call the dealer in the morning.
