| I have all smallgrains and have discovered some areas of my ground that has a LOT of Calcium Carbonate (free lime). Usually on hills/tops of gradual slopes. A hard white layer that is called Calishe is creating a barrier and I would like to RIP those areas but have NO knowledge of rippers, looking for some ideas on what types, what spacings etc.....we seed with 9 inch 5000 Flexicoil drill with narrow openers, put on NH3 with narrow knives at an angle to our seeding pass. Have noticed thta when I can get NH3 knove plow into ground good on those hills, really have a good crop there....maybe just use the knife plow????
