N,E. Kansas | One of my favorite things in this world is listening to Quail call in the spring and hunting them in the fall with my sons. However after sixty plus days of snow cover last winter and a poor hatch this spring due two poorly timed hail storms I am left scratching my head wondering where to go to find some decent Quail hunting. What have you guys been seeing in your parts of the world.
I have a friend in SW Kansas , Clark county , he is seeing fair numbers on his ranch this fall. He said it is good but not great there . We have improved a lot here since ten years ago but suffered quite a set back this year. I am keeping my fingers crossed that we can come back again. | |
