| I feed ground ear corn with a urea/mineral/vitamin premix, along with a little hay. Big steers seem to have too much gut. Can I quit the hay, and add bicarb (for acidosis) and molasses ( bicarb tastes bad) and get rid of the gut? My screen size is 3/4 inch and I have some cobs as big as a quarter, but they seem to clean them up. Is a coarse grind a good thing? Cattle are angus. | |
