The Breakfast Club | Took my '00 378 to get overhead reset and had the guy check the CAC since I suspected it had a leak...and indeed it does. Just wondering if anyone knows a cheap/good source for CAC's in the midwest.
Mech told me boost spec for the motor, N14 525hp should be 40psi...currently getting mid 30's...so I guess it's not BAD. But lost boost=lost power/efficiency.
He mentioned he can get an aftermarket cooler for around $800. For a stock replacement that seems a tad high, and a Duralite goes for around $1100 but you get a pretty extravagant warranty with it I hear. | |
