Subject: Corn & bean price predictions

Lapel, In
Maybe a bit early to speculate, but am wondering with all the problems with the weather and the calendar date being what it is, plus the unknowns on wheat survival and the final crop mix, what do you think prices might be come summer? Corn? Beans ? Wheat? Hay?

Personally, I think there is a good posibility we have seen the low in corn even though the major portion of corn acreage is in the corn belt and is still early as far as planting dates are concerned.. Beans could still go either way depending on planted acreage. Wheat? Was it damaged or killed? If it was killed, will it go into corn or beans? Hay? Lowest inventory since at least 1988. How much of old hay is or has been plowed under in favor of corn? It will continue to be a very interesting year. One we will remember for a long, long time.

What are your thoughts and predictions?
