My MFWD light on the side console stopped working yesterday, Does anyone know if there is a light bulb behind there that can be changed? If so what is the part number? I cannot find a bulb for that in jd parts.

Ours just did the same.
I think if you take a screw out that panel easily comes out and there is a globe behind, I was just going to take the globe in to the dealer with me.

i took a bulb from the front pto spot to use for a spare one time, works good in a pinch next time i will have to go to dealer, but that works good while you have it apart quickly

I agree with using the front pto bulb. Heres a tip: turn the key on and look at the console. Immediatley after the key is on all the bulbs light up for a "bulb check". Might have more than one burned out.
Just take the screw out between the hydraulic control panel and the gauges, the gauge console should pull right out.
8300 console help?
