| The ZF powershift transmission in our Case 821 front end loader finally went out on us so we sent it to a place we've dealt with before to have it rebuilt and they found some hard parts that were damaged and the torque converter was not rebuildable so they came back with a $30,000 quote on a rebuild. The loader is not worth that but we'd be hard pressed to find a loader that size for much less than that. I found two places, Component Service Inc. in Indiana and Schaeffer Enterprises in Illinois that can sell us a used reman trans for $13,000 and condition of core does not matter. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with either of these businesses and could say anything good or bad about either.
