Subject: 7720 feederhouse backfeeding bean straw?

NC Iowa
really ran great all day. one of those bean combining days you dream of.

i was running along a fence at sunset (which i don't like to do) and ran a bunch of dirt into machine. opened all the covers and got the dirt cleaned out of the rock trap and front of cylinder. thought i was good to go, but now it is backfeeding some of the straw back down the feederhouse. concaves look clean, and beater is turning ok, but something still not right. have to wait for daylight to do more looking. any ideas on what it might be, or something else to check.

thanks.
