Subject: Seed placed nutrient concentration and diffusion question(s).

Hi all. With seed placed nutrient, (any crop, any nutrient) I am looking for information dealing with the amount of diffusion as it relates to the concentration of the nutrients. In other words, if the nutrients were to be placed in a larger zone around the seed, how much can one increase the concentration? Example: say xx gpa liquid or xx lbs/acre dry, placed with the seed in a passive manner, might diffuse in moisture to say 1/2" around the seed. If one were to use mechanical methods of sorts to diffuse the nutrients to a larger zone, say 1.5" around the seed, mostly below, but some to the side, might one be able to increase the concentration?

Exactrix has much information on this topic as it relates to anhydrous. However, I do have access to anhydrous, but I am very interested in the concept as it relates to nutrients in general.

 Thanks.
