Rivers, MB | An aeration fan electrical wire end melted down overnite. Its a 240V single phase 50 amp male end. Have new end and see that the plug is labelled that the white wire goes on the smaller of the 2 vertical blades. Our melted down one had the black wire on the smaller vertical blade. Does this make a difference? I'm thinking this is not an issue because its AC but am 2nd guessing myself. sorry if this is a dumb question.
