Subject: Areation Fans - Can you have too much?

NC ND
Have a 24' bin 5.5 rings high. About 7k bushels, has had a 5 hp inline centrifigal (sp?) that quit. Was thinking of replacing with a little bigger, say 7.5 or so. Friend says nothing smaller than a 10 at least. What is the limiting factor? Just the over pressure on the bottom side? Plenty of vent in the top, and I would like this bin to dry wheat if needed, not just hold like the 5 hp would do. If I came across a reasonably priced 20 hp like I just saw a little while ago would that be something to consider, or is there a point where too much air is a waste of time?
