Subject: Yellow striped corn.

Western WI
95% of our corn looks great. However I have a 50 acre field that is very inconsistant in height and color. Only field that we harvested this spring and wondering if that is somehow affecting it. Corn right across the fence, same variety and same date planted is perfect. Fertilizer guy looked in books and thinks it looks like a manganese defiecency but says that isnt normal for our area. Yellowing doesnt look like N deficency. Had urea preplant and disked in imediately. Any reason it can be related to corn standing til spring? Anything that can be done to help or at least be done next time so this doesnt happen? Thanks for any input!
