Northeast Louisiana | It has been dry so far this year. This field has had 2.5 inches of rain since it was planted in march. Here is a picture where the pivot stops. The corn is burning up. I took this picture at 7:30 in the morning so the leaves are not rolled up to bad yet. The second picture is another spot in the field at around 5 in the evening. I'm glad we only have the out side the pivots that are not irrigated.
A while back ago I posted a couple pictures of the suckers some of my corn was growing. This is what they ended up doing. They made what kind of looks like an ear out of the top of it.
