Central Ohio | It has been a rough couple months. First year farming full time to boot. What a year to start. Looked good in the middle of April. Then, since April 23rd, we have been able to run a little more than 3 days in the fields total.
We still need another day to finish planting soybeans the first time, and 1/3 of our beans are in BAD need of replanting, some nearly the entire fields. But we just got 2 inches of rain in about 20 minutes...again. Brings the total up to over 10 inches for the past 12 days.
Not sure if we will get to plant another bean this year. I just wish we could get in to spray!
Just had to vent so my wife didn't have to endure more of it. Hope others are faring better. Praying for patience and trust.
