I read a thread last night that is about 7 pages back by now that asked about adding salt to a small square baler as the bales are made. Others commented about salting the hay as it's stacked. I have heard of salting hay as it's stacked but never saw it done. What kind of salt do you use? Is it just rock salt? Where do you get it in bulk? Any problems salting each layer as it's stacked?
