99 f-250 w/ powerstroke. Alternator will not start charging until the motor his 2000 rpms. if i can rev it up and let it fall back down to an idle i'm fine. 1 year old Alternator has been off and tested 4 times by 2 different shops and they both say it's ok. i put new batteries in and the same thing. Is there something in the computer that is screwing up? if anyones encountered this before let me know - thanks
