Changing a radiator core in one of my ancient trucks today, 7 out of 8 bolts that hold the side supports to the lower tank broke off when attempting to loosen them.

Someone, I can't recall who, has posted on here to weld a washer to the stub and then weld a nut to the washer, then turn the broken piece out. That didn't work the first time, but it did when I welded the washer and nut to the stub and then heated the steel the bolt was broken in. Got all 7 out, looks like all the threads will be reuseable.
