Manitoba | I'm brand new with this stuff and tomorrow will be our first day using our EZ 500 / EZ Steer (Omni XP) planting corn. (8 row planter, 30 inch rows) My question is on the settings for the overlap / skip (in this case skip). So my 8 row planter has a distance between the 2 outside seed rows of 210 " (width between row 1 and row 8). If my guidance were perfect I would set the skip to 30" right? But with the Omni XP being 3-5" accuracy should I be setting my skip to somewhere between 25-27 " ? Thanks for the help | |
