Can anyone tell me if a 612c with only knife rolls will do as good a job of chopping stalks as a 1083 head. Also will the 612c put as many yellow ears in the machine as a 1083? I have seen these 1083 heads do an awesome job, but I need a 12 row and I want hydraulic deck plates on my head. I run a 9760 sts. Does anyone have some pictures from behind a 612c non chopping head?
