SE Nebraska, Near Misery and Cans Ass!
50 year ago column in the local paper says we recieved 6" of snow on top of the 30" still on the ground. As bad as the winter was we never had 24" on the ground at one time. MIL confirms it was bad. She says that's when her youngest was born and they walked to the hospital.
Could be worse, snow that is.
