Subject: Poor mans twin row / splitter planter (pics)

Here are some pictures of the planter I built late last summer. Since the pictures I've added unit mounted no til coulters. In the second picture the planter is set for 4 38" twin rows. The row unit on the far left would be locked up. When planting beans I'll slide four rows to the right 11" to make a 9 row 19" planter. For planting corn with twin rows the seed drive sprockets are timed to stagger the seed drop. I'll try it out this spring if the snow ever melts.
