Subject: spreading lime

NW Ohio
I have a soil sample calling for 3 ton of lime. I do not plan on working this ground before I plant so I was wondering if spreading field lime would have any negative effect on the germination and production of the corn and beans that I plant in the spring, my other option was spreading 100 to 150lbs pellet lime now and put the field lime on next fall and work it in. Just looking for input.
