N Central IA | I am doing some field maps from GS1 console with harvest doc and my field acres are all 5% short of actual acres. Called Deere and they said since I am using third party reciever that could possibly be my problem, is this true or a good excuse. I have an Out Back S-2 for my position reciever, and the combine is a 9660, any one else have this problem? I can change acres with a post calibration edit, but is a pain. Yield monitor is always off on totals but everytime I do a weigh check it's really close, my acres were short even before I added gps and mapping, and yes head size is set right and is a corn head so overlap shouldn't be issue.
