Subject: Update on 4450 LP freon line hassels...

just a tish NE of central ND
After trying to determine a way to make my new freon line fit back onto the 4450 without taking loose a fender and taking off a rear wheel I called a few JD tecks in a few shops.Turns out that after calling a few mechanics I found one that said....... YOU AREN'T trying to put the full length original sized line back on there are you?You will NEVER get that back on in one peice the way you are trying. He went on to tell me that there is a original size available and also a new revised part where the pipe is a two peice item and has a joint in the middle to make it possible to install it without hassles...... But that two peice is an additional 63$ with the insulation...Now it all makes sense!
Thanks all for the help with your replies and steering me in the right direction!
Life is GOOD!
