NW TN, Dyersburg | A friend's 7920 with IVT locked yesterday. Says everything was normal, not one hint that anything was wrong, using it with his grain cart. Started the tractor and it moved about 4' then just locked down. Message came up saying "Low transmission oil pressure". All hydraulics work fine, all else is normal. JD tech came out and removed the transmission filter, it was only half full of oil, he poured the oil into glass jar and saw metal shavings. The tech didn't know what's wrong, not yet anyway. Has anyone had this happen? Any clues? TIA | |
