| Had to have this tractor overhauled this summer. A very good mechanic did the work. While we were at it we pulled the radiator had it checked out cleaned, fins straightened, etc...other work we did was fuel pump and injectors. We are putting it to work now and it seems to want to run up to 200-225 when it is warm out and it is pulling. It has new 170 degree thermostats in it which is what it calls for according to the mechanic. All belts are tight...it is full of coolant....what else could it be? Oh yea...it has very high quality quages on it with insulated conductors so it shouldn't be picking up head somewhere else.....and the guages are right...i shot the thermostat housing with the gun and it is definitely hot. thanks | |
