| I have a 1660 with specialty rotor that I put new bars in before harvest. Got the kit from dealer with all the bars & hardware. The new kit came with less straight separator bars than what was on my machine,4 instead of 8 I think. It seems like I'm having a hard time keeping from throwing some corn out the rotor now. Just wondering if I should get a few more straight bars if it would help. Speed and concave clearance don't seem to have much of an effect. It's not real bad, but more than I'm used to. Could just be that we're shelling 25% corn instead of our usual 18-20%. | |
