Moreno Valley, CA 92555 | UC-Riverside has just come out with a new mandarin orange (tangerine) called
DaisySL for Daisy seedless. It has been just released for propagation.
The citrus breeding project that developed DaisySL is partly funded by by Calif. growers and nurseries through the Citrus Research Board and the California Citrus Nursery Board. The developers Mikeal Roose and Timothy Willaims estimate will be five years before the first DaisySL's will arrive in grocery stores. | |
