Kingston, Iowa | My 500 came with a 1 1/2 inch ram mount. I copied an idea from here and used a 7 inch extension to mount it in our combine. It stayed put until I started moving and then wanted to hang like a limp noodle.
I tried tightening, to the point were it deformed the ball. Finally, I gave up and made a mount out of 5/8 rod.
What is the weight break on ball size? Can you tighten them too much? | |
