Nebo, Kentucky | I previously posted about the corn borer problem in my popcorn, causing the ears to drop. Scouting the fields, it seems that they did the damage in about a 7-10 day time period and now have moved on. I am not seeing any new ear drop. Is this normal? Does their life cycle happen that quick? Or is that just wishful thinking on my part? The popcorn is just now getting dry enough to harvest-17%.
