| I am in North Dakota, feed price is posted $3-3.20 locally. Elevator says I can't lock in feed price now. They also want me to sign for 3.25 malt contract. Can't I just buy option on winnepeg exchange to fix my feed price? I know that I am open to currency flucuations but what am I missing? Is feed barley always tied to corn futures so I could buy corn options to fix feed barley price. I want to sell barley off of combine for 3$ plus. | |
