Subject: Insurance for Precision Components

NW Missouri
I'm happy with my insurance carrier overall (Shelter). Good rates, good service, etc. But when I inquired about insuring my ag leader stuff they said they couldn't do it. I was not asking for insurance against a cracked screen or something - just theft or getting burned up in a tractor or shed fire. Do most guys insure that stuff, or just chance it? I've only got one system, but it would cost quite a bit to replace it all. I've got a lot less valuable equipment than that insured. Mainly wondering because we have some rented ground a ways away where we have to leave stuff overnight sometimes, and the globe and monitor could get swiped awful easy. Not a real big problem in this area, but I wondered if I should look elsewhere for coverage.
