just wondering what you all would consider getting paid timely in regards to an elevator. I am in illinois and just looked up "the illinois grain code" and it is stated "Make payment for grain purchased within a reasonable period of time after the seller requests payment". The local elevator changed policy not to pay the farmers for grain picked up at the farm and delivered to the river terminal until "they" have been paid. | |
