Subject: Are all hydraulic control valves purpose built?

I'm at the point where a hydraulic steering valve is going to be the way to get the rtk performance I would like. I have a mojortk which can talk to about any valve (or will in the future), so I'm wondering what my options are. Sounds like a proportioning type valve is much better than a 'bang bang' like the edrive. Are any of these valves just variations of common valve setups from parker, etc?

Thanks,

Pat
