Statesville, NC | I have a '93 International with a L-10 Cummins, mechanical, step timing control. It's a low mileage truck and starts and runs very well. It's one of the best cold starting engines I've ever owned. When it idles for several minutes, such as unloading grain, and start driving down the road, it seems to have a few seconds of delay with the throttle, then it goes. When it starts pulling again, and you go to change gears, it sometimes doesn't drop rpm, just stays up for a little bit and I have to wait a few seconds to get it in gear. Once it goes thru this one time, it runs and drives fine. I'm thinking it may have an air leak in the fuel system somewhere? Any ideas? | |
