Subject: Pros and cons of CIH 1200 vs CIH 900 planter

Huron county Ontario Canada
Currently running a 900 cyclo and a 1200 caught my eye. I know nothing about a 1200 and haven't gone to look at it yet. I will obviously miss the central hopper of the 900 and doing test plots with it as it's so quick and easy to change varieties. I do a 15-20 strip plot every year.

I assume the spacing should be better with the 1200?
Is there any difference in the row unit as far as even seeding depth?
Is the down pressure settings easier to adjust?
The 1200 has a pro 600 monitor, what does that all tell you?

I am trying to no-til all of my corn, some corn on corn, some into alfalfa and some into wheat stubble. I am somewhat concerned about the change in down pressure on the rows as the seed hopper gets empty on the 1200, something I don't deal with now.

Thanks for any info!
