SW “Ohia”

Sometimes comparing numbers is fun. You can always find some interesting stuff when going through paperwork at the end of the year.

11 Acres, 2-Bed/1-Bath Farmhouse, two sturdy old barns, 7000bu grain bin, double corn crib, and large pond in 2018: $180,000

5 Days Hospitalized in 2022: $167,942.54 (99% covered by insurance.)

Monthly Mortgage Payment: $752.68

Monthly Medication Cost: $12,688.33 (99.8% covered by insurance, for now.)

Which will have a better ROI in the long term?

I know there’s 308 payments left on the mortgage. I don’t know how many there will be on the medication. Sure makes budgeting difficult.***

(Is it weird to hope you can have as many of those payments as possible?)
