| Has anyone successfully made an AGCO C2100 console work on a planter? I have a 2011 MF 8650 tractor pulling a 2013 White 8523 planter. When I bought the planter new, I didn't have an ISO ready tractor, so I have the separate harness and C1000 console for it. I have not invested at this point in autosteer, but use a Garmin globe for mapping through the C1000. It works OK I guess. I have a 1 year old C2100 console I bought to replace the one in my MF 9520 combine that I was wondering how I could make work for the planter. The original C2100 didn't bring up the planter program, but this one does. It errored on a speed reading and that is as far as I went. I have the planter harness connected to the tractor radar as well as that Garmin GPS receiver.
Just looking for ideas. Yes, I know, I should buy an AgLeader or other system, but I haven't done that yet. If I could make this larger console work, I'd be OK for a while. I am going to look into other systems to hopefully use between my planter setup and my JD S760 combine later on.
