Subject: Anyone run a electric pump setup from JD Skiles on a grain drill ?

Grandview, TX
I’m going to put an in furrow fertilizer system on a 40’ box drill. I called Skiles and he wanted to set me up with an electric pump with a rate controller. Anyone out there run this Skiles setup ? Any advantages of electric over ground drive ?

All I’ve ever run is a Kenneth sales system that came on a used drill I bought. The Sales system didn’t seem to give me any trouble besides having to rebuild the diaphragm pump every few years. I priced a sales system for this drill and it was quite a bit higher than the Skiles.
