Gettysburg, PA | Thought this group would appreciate this the most. I co-chair the National Apple Harvest Festival Pit Beef stand for the Upper Adams Jaycees. Although most (if not all) of the credit goes to a gentleman that has helped for 38 years. Anyway, we did 13,000 lbs (yes, that is not a typo) of pit beef sandwiches over the last two weekends. Use a bottom round flat. That is a lot of beef!!! I should add that we fill these trays 4 or 5 times each day.
