Subject: Gas range ignitor clicking

North Dakota
Wondering if anyone who has a gas range in their kitchen has ever had the electric ignitor keep clicking for an extended period of time after the burner lights? And if you have, what was the solution to fixing it? Our range ignitor normally clicked maybe two or three times after the flame lit. Now it keeps going for 20-30 seconds. Seems like until some sort of thermocouple or flame sensor gets warm maybe? I've tried cleaning everything up and used a torch tip tool to clean the gas port that shoots a flame toward the ignitor. Can't seem to find much info online about this. Thanks in advance for anyone that has any experience or information on this.
