Subject: Had to replant some beans that got frosted

NC Ohio
Had about 50 acres of beans that got killed from the frost we had last week. Most of the damage was where the heavy corn stalks were. They was no-tilled in on April 27. Why would the ones die that was in the heavy cover and the ones that were in less trash come thru it better? You would think it would be the other way around. Either way we replanted and hope for the best. They were mostly in the bottom parts of fields. We have very rolling ground. We had some planted earlier then those that were fine But on higher ground. Hope everybody is getting there planting done and be safe
