coast of Maine | You can use a zucchini but Cousa is best,split scoop out seeds ,I sautee ground pork(the Lebanese use lamb I think )add garlic etc,place meat in the shell ,toss some tomatoes on ,cover with some cheese.Bake at 425 a good 30 min,can crisp on broil if want to,super the next day by far.You can take to the field in foil /plastic wrap and eat the dish as the cousa squash holds its shape well.Was a day cut short by more rain so I cooked supper.I think I could eat 2 of these.
