Oregon | We were able to make 400 3x4s this morning of red clover and barley. Nice day to be on the baler, got out once on a missed tie, big clover stem jammed up a knotter. Upgraded to a 4960 this year. Was using a 4440 the last 6 years but no cash to upgrade. It was hard on it but it got us through. It’s now out to pasture pulling the wheel rake. 4960 is MUCH nicer but a part of me misses the windows and doors open, full throttle up against the governor, and a cloud of smoke and steam haha. Filled the radiator many of nights from the irrigation mainline.
