Be interesting to find out the PPD for May I'm think'n for FMMO 32 will be about -3 bucks maybe -3.20. We will know by the 11th.
IT will be interesting to see what happens with the classes for milk. IF 4 keeps going higher will we have a +PPD for June?
Wondering how DRP looks for class 4 milk now? Class 3 for this quarter may have been a good deal.
I also wonder how the dry weather affecting hay yields will impact dairy moving forward? IT looks like we are on a knife-edge as to having serious production problems due to heat and less available feedstuffs or we will be going gangbusters!
What will that feed costs do to the DMC with declining all milk price. gonna be huge for May and June I think
OH well just random thoughts finished first cutting hay last night. Back to planting corn after I take a day to haul manure. At least no ruts in the last 2 fileds.
