Sw mn | I am going to be the first thread since last time fats were $170 to announce the ground breaking on my new shed.
A real trend setter.
I am currently building a 500 head cow confinement shed. This money making machine will be calving out 500 head every 2 months for a total of 5000 calves a year. I realize some of you are all ready question my numbers. My death loss will be threw the roof, but I am going to keep my mouth shut about that detail.
By the time this calf castle is complete and the first fat cattle leave my yard, August of 2023, surly fats will be worth north of $180 on the hoof with corn only bringing $2.50 with a great marketing plan.
But the real money is in the manure coming out of the barn. I don’t like to work for “crap” wages but when I do I make it worth my time.
The easy money is made getting in on the bottom.
