I have about 12ac of annual ryegrass that I've had two pairs on all spring. There's still a ton of standing forage but it has dried out now in the heat and drought. Question is will they still eat is as fodder, I realize most all the nutritional value is gone. Just curious if it will work similar to how people stockpile dormant standing bermuda.
