Subject: Custom silage bagging rate. What to expect

I recently bought a junior Ag bagger, 8 foot machine side load. We don’t have silage baggers within 1000 miles of us, and a pile wasn’t working for us anymore. I was not planning on doing any custom work with it but the neighbors are going ape**** crazy. One guy wants me to bag around 1000 ton of beet pulp, and there’s a couple guys that want to bag corn silage this fall. I hate to leave them hanging, but I’ve really never ran a bagger before or even know what to charge for the service of it. Any ideas?? Our machine is Older and we didn’t pay a lot for it. We do have 2 older wagons we bought to fill the bagger

These neighbors want to go out and chop the silage and haul it back to dump it somewhere in their yard with the semis. then shovel it up with there loader. Then dump that into one of the wagons and unload it into the bagger. Which makes sense, because everything’s done by truck here . So I’d be using the wagons and the bagger for them.
